![]() Correct choices will generate a flurry of hearts and what looks like purple squash while incorrect choices generate black clouds. ![]() Now once you meet the other dads you’ll want to carefully choose your options (or Google up a walkthrough) so that you can increase affection with the dad that you want to date. In fact I noticed several points where despite what you chose in the beginning, the game will ignore your choice at points, so I doubt the beginning options count for much. I haven’t played this extensively enough to know how much your choices effect the other dads before you meet them, and I don’t see that they ever really come up in the game. You read through the dialogue and eventually get points where you can choose your response. Moving on, the game play is fairly simple. Many Otome give you a chance to name your character, but not choose a look for them. Still, having something that lets you design and name your character in an Otome style game is a huge plus for fans. Damit when I build a character I want to build a hot guy/girl not something as a joke. Thinking back on it, this should have been the big clue that the game was not going to have a serious vibe. Sadly my excitement waned greatly when I saw the other options you had… The body type selection is nice and the hair selection is okay, but these faces… I just can’t. One thing that I was super excited for was the fact that you had a build a dad thing with Goku hair. Honestly I’d probably like it so much better if there weren’t so many puns and if there were dads I actually wanted to date… But I’ll get to that in a moment. As far as how the game works it’s well put together despite a few errors in the story here and there. Okay I get it bad dad jokes for a dad dating game, but omg the puns made it so hard for me to get through. It reminds me a lot of Yo Jin Bo and the endless stream of really bad puns. ![]() Don’t get me wrong I’ve played my share of BoyxBoy games in my life, but this game is just… not my thing. Okay so I’d seen quite a bit of hype on this from some of the social media outlets I’m active on and I have learned one thing never, ever listen to what the people I follow say about a game… This one was really rough for me.
